“I have always enjoyed lifting weights and exercising. Had a love for gymnastics and competed a little in college and later coached at the Phillips Gymnastics Club for 17 years. I was a Jazzercise Instructor for 3 years then began Crossfit in 2013 and enjoyed competing in several competitions. I found a love for Olympic Weightlifting & while trying to improve those skills, met Daniel. I have competed as a Master Weightlifter in the 55-59, 60-64, and currently 65-69 age groups, going to Nationals as a 55-59 and 64-69 all with the love and support of my husband of 42 years, Dave. We are retired but not finished living life. I want to still get up and down on the floor with my granddaughter. My goal is to show men and women that no matter your age, you can exercise, always get better and make your own accomplishments.
We are not dead yet!!”
