While his attitude and aesthetic may be lighthearted and easy going, Daniel takes his commitment to training and PHP very seriously. Through his coaching and programming, the gym has seen 5 National Qualifiers, 6 Invitation-Only Qualifiers, 2 World Qualifiers, 12 State Records, 7 American Records, 4 State Gold Medalists, 2 National Gold Medalists, and 1 World Silver Medalist, all under his purview and all in the 2 years PHP has been open. He strives to be the best possible coach, always seeking knowledge from different facets and sources to overcome the imbalances and plateaus of his many athletes, allowing them to reach their own individual goals.

When PHP decided to take a scientific, evidence based approach to programming and performance, this was the man behind it. In his spare time between his chiropractic clients, he is researching and keeping up-to-date on the ins and outs of the current sports science community. He also is the go-to guy when it comes to rehab, injury treatment, mobility.

Mandi Jackson


PHP is excited to welcome Mandi as a CrossFitcoach after she and her family moved back to Bartlesville from Texas. A coach that has seen her fair share of competitions as both a collegiate athlete and CrossFit competitor, Mandi knows how to not only instruct for metabolic conditioning, she also knows how to help athletes train for the competitive edge in the events of their choice. She and her husband, Zeb, share a passion for fitness that bleeds over into their day-to-day lives as they work to raise three awesome, active little humans!

Marla Kountoupis is an incredible Masters Weightlifter and has joined the PHP Family as our premier nutrition counselor and CrossFit coach. With 22 years in the fitness space, 15 of which she spent working with women in health care, Marla’s macro-based nutrition programming has helped hundreds of clients reach their nutrition goals, evolving the programs to specifically meet their personal needs. In her spare time, Marla enjoys collecting fitness certifications, running, hiking, kayaking, reading, yoga and relaxing at the lake with her family!

Heather Williams, M.P.T.

Heather has mastered the balance of working as a physical therapist, mothering 3 gorgeous girls, and coaching the CrossFit class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. A former college athlete, Heather’s extensive background in exercise and therapy paired with her outgoing nature make her a wonderful coach to start your day with!

Alivia Carrol

After 15 years as a gymnast competing in 10 state championships, 8 regional championships, 3 western national championships and 2 junior Olympic national championships, Alivia knew that she wanted to continue with her passion for movement and overall health. After certifying as a personal trainer through the Cooper Institute, she worked for 3 years helping her clients achieve their personal goals and blogging as the Active Life Coach. Now, she’s joined the PHP family as our resident gymnastics expert, assisting those who attend her CrossFit classes with the skills they need to develop strength, particularly when it comes to body weight movements. In her free time, Alivia loves hanging out with her husband, Andy, and their son, Isaiah, painting furniture, training hard, and enjoying the “live entertainment” of her friends and family.

Kaleigh West

Not only does she have a love for off-the-grid adventure, triathlons, yoga, and weightlifting, but she does all this in her spare time after her unrelated 9-5 job! Through working with top level coaches to rehab her own injuries (and avoid surgery) she has learned much of what is needed to help athletes learn to mobilize, strengthen, and endure the rehab process, ultimately getting them back to sport and activity much quicker (plus, she is a ray of sunshine to Coach Daniel’s sometimes unwanted feedback)!
